Hello wonderful supporters and blog followers!
This blog is unique…it's for my friends, Amanda Brucki and Megan Miller. They are in a position of needing to raise more support by our December deadline which is by the end of the day today…Tuesday (your time)! If they don’t meet this deadline they are not able to continue on the Race with us as we leave for Mozambique tomorrow morning. I’m in a unique position of knowing how it feels to have your Race threatened (although for health reasons instead of financial reasons) so my heart goes out to them as they trust God to provide for them in this way.
If you are in a position to support these ladies it would bless them and our squad greatly. We are truly the body of Christ and we need and desire for each person on this squad to go forward together. Amanda needs to raise $1,600 and Megan needs to raise $1,430 by the end of the day. If you are able to help, it would be such an encouragement and gift to them. Our whole squad is sending out the word to our friends and family to stand behind them! P.S. I'm doing well! The addition of the prednisone is still helping the arthritis…no pain…just some extra swelling and I get tired quicker than before. Pray that the RA would continue to be under control for the 3 day bus ride to our next ministry…whewhew! I'm soooooo thankful to be leaving with my squad for Mozambique tomorrow morning!
