Introducing…. Team 1010 Fierce!
There are 31 amazing people on my squad. We will all travel together to each country where we’ll separate into teams and go our various ways throughout the country. This team will become my sisters, my closest friends, my support system, the ones who will push me ever higher. We will live and breathe in close quarters and probably be in each other’s hair a lot. But we will be strong together!
Please meet them!
This is our enthusiastic team leader, Claire. She has proven her willingness and courage to keep going even when the road gets really rocky and steep. During training camp she had to go to the emergency care because of an allergic reaction. She spent the night in the lodge but the next day was up and ready to tackle our fitness hike. I love how full of life she is and her ability to bring joy to those she meets. She’s also a talented videographer – go subscribe to her YouTube channel to follow her journey and those of her team.
Amy is such a sweet soul! She has a wealth of knowledge and I’m so going to enjoy learning from her! This lady also has amazing photography skills – photo credits to her! She was chosen to be our team storyteller and this she is going to excel in!
Cimone is a beautiful lady who might be small, but she has faith that removes great obstacles! She’s been such an inspiration to me in so many ways. By faith we are believing that God will provide the funds she needs to be able to launch in August. I’d love if you’d follow her blog and support her if you feel so led! Laiken is our Canadian girl who has a quiet voice yet so much spunk and life inside. I’m so going to enjoy teasing that out of her! She’s an organizer and loves to research – she’ll make sure we stay informed for this whole trip!
Gisele is a lady I find to be very strong and joyful. And her strength comes from having weathered a few storms and come through them victorious because of Jesus! Her connection with the Father makes you realize this can only develop because she’s pursuing Him whole-heartedly. She also loves the gym and her exercises. I’m thinking she’ll probably toughen me up in a hurry.
Then there’s me.
One job I’ll be doing for this team is taking care of being the treasurer. This means I’ll try to make sure we budget correctly and get fed all month. And maybe have some extra for ice cream every so often! YES!
I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to serve with these strong women. I know God put us together for a reason, we fit each other. And I have so much to learn from each of them!
Would you pray for each of us as we get ready to go on this journey together? We as a team will be speading the Gospel, but we can’t do it on our own because we need each other AND YOU!
