Aloha kakahiaka and mahaolo e Ke Akua no keia la!
Celebrating a friend’s nuptial this weekend and I’m so excited for them. It is my first full day in Maui and relaxation is on the itinerary. I’m a simple girl and sitting in coffeehouses relaxes me. I found this eclectic little place on the internet which was only 2 miles away from my rental. Same road so no need for GPS, right? It took 15 minutes for me to find this place. Had I consulted the GPS, I wouldn’t have wasted so much time driving around. Sometimes, that’s how I am with God. I forget to consult Him at all because I believe I know until I realize after the fact that I don’t know. I’m still under construction and forget that I am dependent on God for every aspect of my life. From provision to protection, it is all by the grace of God.
The World Race is no different. Every time I think about it, I am in complete awe of this divine opportunity. God has been faithful in directing me when I seek Him and I know He will continue to be, it says so in Philippians 1:6. “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” I believe this for each of us. Right now, I wish you were sitting here with me, sipping a flat white and swapping stories. Perhaps one day.
Aloha Friday!
