Awesome way to start a adventure in Port Elizabeth,South Africa. We arrived at our bus destination on the 3rd of July and hop on for a 15hr bus ride without knowing our bus made multiple stops. We got off at what we thought was our final destination to notice we didn’t see our point of contact we were already a couple minutes late and thought well lets just wait and see what happens. Before the bus driver departing he looks at us and ask are you guys alright? we replied yes. After waiting for about 35min our team leader says “i’m going to go inside the office of the bus company and ask if they have any idea about this address” and he did when he return he replies “so um yeah we got off at the wrong bus stop” haha. So we decided to wait another 45min if not try to find a cab to the other stop, in he mist of waiting i started to pray and ask the Lord to show up and give some deserment to the people that were going to pick us up and hope they drive around this bus stop and find us. so we dicided to look at the bright side it sending some team time and asking questions by this point is the 4th of July and asked what we would’ve been doing back in the states. I was happy/sad to share that it was my favorite holiday and that during that day i would get together with family, friends bbq, hang, and go to the city to watch an awesome firework show along with a concert, or go to the beach and watch the firework show from the beach. all my team shared their story and it was awesome to see how different we would celebrate such holiday. well i must tell ya our prayer work because they found us and told us guys you was supposed to get down at the other stop haha. We are Bless to be safe and sound after traveling for 70hrs including Plane Rides, Layovers, Bus rides, and lots of waiting (patience) made me appreciate every single moment and praise my God for making everything roll according to his will <3
