So, as some of you may have seen, I am going to Uganda in January for three months. This trip is called Beauty for Ashes where a small group of women and myself will be working with Sisters of Hope International in Kampala. Sisters of Hope provides education, materials and discipleship to widows and single mothers. While in Kampala we will be building relationships and holding Beauty for Ashes retreats. The point of these retreats is to encourage these woman to find freedom through Jesus. I am so excited to go where God is calling me. While on the Race God gave me a passion to work with woman after I always envisioned myself working with kids and running an orphanage. God continues to stir my heart to work with children even while also leading me to work with and along side women loving them, praying with them and whatever else God calls me to.
