So as some of you may know I just got back from a week long summer camp only a couple days ago! It felt like the longest week of my life. I had a lot of fun and there was a lot of amazing things happening. We had a lot of campers growing in their faith. We even had one camper get baptize. It was also not easy I had several of the girls talk to me about some very difficult situations they are in. It just reminded me how much we need God (out theme song was so fitting this year, which was “Lord, I need you” by: Matt Maher), because I could not have gotten through this last week without him. I had to rely on his strength and remember to take those precious breaks so that I did not just fall apart. It is so easy to forget that he is always by our side, or to let our pride get in the way and say we do not need him. So even though it felt like the longest week ever, it was such a great reminder of how great our God is.
