This month in Cambodia my team and I are at a children’s home. I have enjoyed it so much and have found kids I want to take home (don’t worry mom I won’t). We have been able to love on them and also go to other villages and love on the people there as will.  What I did not expect is to receive so much love in such little ways. The children at the home run to us when we get home, they will just lay by us, practice their english with us, give the best hugs or little kisses. It has shown me we don’t have to do any thing special to show them or to receive love from them. Just being us is enough. We have done a couple of movie nights with them. During the first movie night about half way through the movie I was laying there and one of the boys turns and lays by me and grabs my face. For about fifteen minuets we are just laying looking at each other and touching each other faces. I almost started crying because I could not believe how loved I felt by something so little. It reminded me that God can use anyone no matter their age, size, gender or the amount of money they have. God used that little boy to show me so much love in such a small way. It made me think about how sometimes I want to do more and more but the little things like waving and smiling at some one can make just as much as an impact.
