This whole blog thing is another world to me, so bear with me! Fortunately this one about me, so I guess my ignorance to blogging is acceptable, just this one time at least!

Let's begin with some background and family.
I was born in Chattanooga, TN, December 29, 1990 to two wonderful parents and an older brother.
Months after my birth, we moved to Dalton, GA where I lived until I was 15.
When I was in elementary school, we added to the family by adopting my younger siblings from Romania.

Skiing with my younger siblings in Breckenridge
This is a more recent picture of us skiing in Breckenridge this past December. They blew me away both emotionally and physically! It was a ton of fun flying down the mountain with them!

North Carolina.

27th year at the beach as a family
My family is pretty cool. Our move to NC brought us closer to my NC family. We have spent 27 consecutive 4th of July's together at the beach!

High school. I miss these girls! My girl friends from high school are incredible and dispersed all over the country doing awesome things. I miss them a lot!

In eleventh grade I was able to go on my first international mission trip to India.

Jumping in a field in Ecuador
Later that year I was able to go on my second to Ecuador. I like to jump high with my friends!!

Oh college…

I am thankful for the move to NC, even though it was the hardest challenge in my life great things came from it. Without it, I would not go to school at Appalachian State University and see things like this….

I go to school here too.

or do things like this…

This is where I go to school!

climbing. dont look Monna (my grandmom)!
Don't let my grandmother see this one!

During college I have had more experiences to serve the Lord in various places in the country.

Summer 2010 in LA changed my life.
My summer in Los Angeles completely changed my life, gave me lifelong friends, but most importantly solidified the Lord's call as a missionary on my life.

The best thing about college is the Appalachian State University Wesley Foundation, a campus ministry full of powerful friends who open my eyes and encourage me to dig deep and ask healthy questions. They are a community of people who love to serve. This picture was taken with a family we met and were able to help plug into a local church in Philadelphia.

This was also in Philadelphia. My friends are also a rough crowd, but we will love you.

This was just last month in Miami. We were able to learn and spread the word about child abuse and child sex trafficking, hear about human trafficking from a migrant worker, help FIU with a project to outreach to their campus, feed some individuals currently without a residence, did a day camp for children living in a children's home, pray for the city by the metro, speak some spanish, share a meal and time of worship with six other campuses throughout the country and have some fun in the sun!

Other things I love are…

My first half marathon!
Running. This past year I ran my first half-marathon, I do not know if I will do it again.
I love ice cream!
ICE CREAM!!!!
can't forget the hammock
camping, don't forget the hammock.

And the best for last…
Worshipping the Lord is my purpose and my joy!
Worshipping. I grew up in the church, but really gave my life to the Lord when I was 14. The Lord has grown me, challenged me and has been very very patient with me. I am so grateful and will give my life as an offering and blessing to the Lord.

I will write more about the Lord's move in my life next!
