I am not much of a writer, but I wanted to try to express my thoughts about Nepal in some way. These were some thoughts from church this morning.
Please keep the country of Nepal in your prayers.
Warm bodies, fed bellies, safe surroundings
Colorful lights, praise music, exalted hearts
But I hear the screams, I see the pain, I cough the dust
I climb through the brokenness, I see the bodies, I sense the hopelessness
A kid is laughing and playing
Another is orphaned and alone
One body is loved
Another is completely broken
A family is united
Another is lost and destroyed
Praises being sung, a longing to feel
Yelling and weeping; feelings all too heavy
My joys become burdens
My praise becomes intercession
My need becomes them
We sing bring your Kingdom
I sing send Your Kingdom
We sing make us brave
I beg You to give them strength
We sing for an abundance
I send your sufficiency
