So we arrived in India about a week ago. We are in the state
of Bihar which is in the very North next to Nepal. We are working with and
organization called GEMS (Gospel Echoing Missionary Society. As we drove from
the airport it seemed like we were going to be in the middle of nowhere. We
arrived to a self-contained town. GEMS has built its own town basically. There
is a hospital, several schools, dorms, a church, and a canteen. It is awesome.

We arrived and were given many different opportunities for
ministry here. They told us that we could minister in the polio home to the
kids there, we could go to the schools and interact with the kids, we could go
to outreach projects that they have and minister to people out in the villages,
or we could paint Bible stories on the walls of the new school. After three
long months of preaching and evangelism we all decided we wanted to paint!

So we were given three projects in three different rooms.
One room would have Noah’s ark in it, which the boys worked, one would be to
finish a room that a previous World Race team started of Moses, and the last
one would be to do either the creation story or David and Goliath.

So all week we work on the paintings and the boys finished
Noah’s ark and we are almost finished with the Moses room. It has been so much
fun painting, having dance parties in the middle of the room to relax, talk
with the random people that pop in to figure out what we are doing, and just
being able to spend time with each other.

The painting the boys finished! Looks amazing!

The Moses time line wall that Bethany, Sandy and I worked on. We are almost finished!
