“The kingdom of God does not come with observation; “nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17: 20b-21

If someone were to ask you the question of who you are, what would you say? Without giving your name what would you tell them? That was a question that hit me this past month when I was in Peru. I thought over and over what I actually would say and then I thought what I am about to say, would I believe it?

Knowing that I am a born again believer do I actually believe what the Word of God says? Do I believe what it says in John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”. The Word of God is actually Jesus Christ! If Jesus Christ is the Word of God and He says a promise, do I actually believe it?

Do I actually believe that when I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart that I completely became a new creation in Christ Jesus? Everything that I had done in my past was done away with (Isaiah 43:25) and God looks down on me as a perfect creation in Jesus Christ. Do I really believe that? Does that sink deep into my mind to where I can walk in the freedom that Christ gives?

This was the overwhelming question the entire month and I can now begin to state with complete certainty that I BELIEVE. Is it pride that I believe this, or is it complete confidence in who my Father in heaven says that I am?

I believe that what we are facing in this generation of the church are believers who are afraid to step out and actually take hold of who they are in Christ. They are afraid to actually take the inheritance that the Lord has given because of fear. They do not know what the future might hold, or if there is a city over the horizon. The Lord says in Proverbs 3:5-6 to “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, do not depend on your own understanding, acknowledge Him in all you do, and He will direct your paths.”

The paths that the Lord wants to take His children on are for them to take hold of their inheritance. To step up and actually realize who they are in Christ Jesus. God wants for everyone to repent and to be saved but in order for that to happen; His present children need to quit drinking milk and move on to the full course meal.

I am so thankful that my Father in heaven has shown me who I truly am and that the closer that I get to Him, the more Chad I become. God wants me to become who He created me to be and to give Him all the glory. He wants me to believe that I am God’s child, that I am Christ’s friend, that I am a saint, that I am complete in Christ, that I am free from condemnation, that I am a citizen of heaven and that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I am sorry for jumping on my soap box and preaching but this is something that I am very passionate about. I am so passionate about this generation and future generations realizing who they are in Christ Jesus. That they no longer have to be haunted by the past or take the negativity that this present age throws in their direction.

I
pray that you to would find who you are in Christ. You were born for Christ and He wants you to realize that. He wants to talk with you, share with you, struggle with you, play with you and live with you for eternity.

May the Lord pour His abundant love upon you that only He can give.

(We have moved on to Buenos Aires Argentina for the next eight days seeking to find future partners. Please pray that the Lord would put the right people into our paths.)

God Bless you!
