“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” 1st Peter 2:9

We are headed off to Mozambique tomorrow morning at 4:00am. The bus that we have to catch leaves from Pretoria and heads for Maputo Mozambique that arrives at 4:00pm. From that transition we jump to another bus which we hope will leave at 6:00pm and get ready for this one, 17-24 hours later we arrive in Dondo Mozambique on a chicken bus.
We have been told that the land is some of the most beautiful in the world with lush coconut trees surrounding the entire coastline. The A Squad will be dropped off at a town called Vilankulos that was completely devastated by a recent Cyclone. The Cyclone came through and ripped up the city with 145 MPH winds and made Katrina look like nothing.

The Cyclone then stormed through the country and turned into a tropical storm which turned into a massive flood on the Zambeze River. We have been told that around every five years a flood comes through and wipes out every neighboring city on the river but because of the extreme poverty people move right back into the flood zones. This flood happened a little over two months ago and killed thousands and left hundreds of thousands without a thing.

Mozambique is the 4th poorest country in the world and is run by a very corrupt communistic government. Civil war ended in 1994 and the country has not been able to pick itself back up. The country is being plagued with Malaria, AIDS and dysentery. The most shocking statistic is that two out of three babies will die before the age of five years old.

When we arrive in Dondo we will be partnering with an organization called Iris Ministries. Iris ministries is headed up by Rolland and Heidi Baker who are completely sold out for Mozambique. Since being there they have started 7,000 churches throughout the country.

We will be living at one of the Iris bases situated in Dondo where revival began some six years ago. Living at our base are 40 orphan boys ranging from the ages of 4 to the upper teens. We will be assisting with relief efforts in the northern cities, working with the orphans, church planting, open air outreaches, prayer walks and what ever else the Lord leads us in.

I am amazed at this opportunity that is before me because one of the biggest movements of God around the world is smack dab in the middle of Mozambique. I really have no expectations except for God to show up. We have heard stories of the power of God completely and literally flooding through entire cities. The healings that are taking place are completely mind-blowing. Thousands are literally being completely healed from AIDS. We are talking about people that were diagnosed with a disease that is incurable and then this incurable disease just decides to leave.
The movement of God is not slowing down, blind eyes are being opened, deaf ears are hearing and this is one that really might throw you for a loop, the dead are being raised.
Some people right now are thinking, what the heck is going on over there. The honest to God truth is that when you start to believe in the God that created the heavens and earth, nothing is impossible for Him. The things that we think as impossible are not for Him.

Proverbs says that we are not to depend on our own understanding. What that means is that we cannot comprehend the power of God. God can make anything happen if people would just believe. What is going on in Mozambique is just that and the result of it is miracles that completely baffle the human mind.
I am going to have limited internet access while in Mozambique so please bare with me for the infrequent updates. We will be in the country from the 10th-1st of June.
I send my love to my family, friends and supporters.
God Bless.
