“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” Mathew 22:37
Being on the leadership side of the World Race has given me freedoms that some don’t have on the World Race. I have been able to be a part of the June World Race teams and I now get to be a part of the beginning of the September World Race Teams. I head to Bangkok for the kick-off of their Thailand leg.

When I hit the runway I was filled with the Spirit of the Lord. I had just encountered the Lord in a way that I had never encountered him the night before and was ready to do His work.
Two weeks earlier I was getting two suits custom tailored for preaching when a great ministry moment opened. Mr. Wichet was the normal taxi driver for YWAM and I just thought that he was a Christian since he was around YWAM so much and how close he was with so many believers. That was my mistake and I learned a huge lesson in that.
When I entered the tailor shop called Vashi’s, Vashi was witnessing to Mr. Wichet. I was blown away to learn that his wife was Christian yet he was Buddhist. I listened in and waited patiently. Mr. Wichet was very open to talking about Jesus with Vashi and Vashi was passionate about showing him what God had done in His life.

Mr. Wichet asked if I was ready to go and we headed back to the YWAM base. I knew that we had about an hour and half car ride, so we began talking about my most favorite subject, Jesus Christ. He asked so many deep questions about creation, heaven, hell, sin and prayer. It was amazing seeing what the Lord was opening up and I got to share the entire Gospel.
Mr. Wichet then told me that not less than a couple weeks back his stomach was hurting really bad. He said that a Christian brother from YWAM was around him and he asked if he could ask His God if He would heal him. The brother in Christ laid hands on him and he was healed immediately. Mr. Wichet didn’t understand what happened but was so thankful to his God.
At the end of the conversation I gave Mr. Wichet a salvation prayer card that I just happened to have in my wallet because Mr. Wichet didn’t want to pray right then. He told me that He wanted to pray to God and wanted to make it special. He said that He believed and that he couldn’t wait to pray alone with God. I prayed over him and asked the Lord to stay with Him and make himself real to him.
As I entered the Airport coming from Cambodia I was so excited to see what God had done in Mr. Wichet’s life. When we saw him he said, “Chad I prayed alone with the Lord and read the prayer that you gave me on my knees and all the hair on my entire body stood up”. He said that he didn’t know what happened but he knew that he could feel God.
I praised God because of what He was doing in Mr. Wichet’s life. Jimmy, Jake and I were all taken back with the stories that Mr. Wichet was telling us. Just one week earlier Christians had been praying not to miss their flight when he picked them up to go to the airport. A trip that normally takes an hour and a half at peak traffic time took twenty minutes. Mr. Wichet said that this is impossible; there is no way that that could ever happen. They prayed and asked God to make a path for them to get to the airport quickly and the Lord parted the traffic for them.
We ended our taxi ride praising God and sharing more about a personal relationship with Jesus to Mr. Wichet. He was so excited to pray to Jesus more and to ask for Him to come more in His life. We laid hands on him once again and asked for our Father to protect and shower his family with blessings.

I praise God for showing himself in such an amazing way and for coming into Mr. Wichets life. If you are reading this please pray a little prayer for taxi driver Mr. Wichet of Bangkok Thailand.
God Bless.
