“Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:15
The scripture above states exactly what the Lord did when He died on the cross. He took away every power of the devil. The devil only has lies. That is exactly what is keeping Swaziland in bondage, which is destroying the country.
One lie, that has devastated the country, says that raping a virgin will cure AIDS. This has exposed babies and little girls to vile men that believe the lie which comes from the witchdoctors of the country. The devil is not making the men rape the children, he is just speaking a soft lie that man believes and because of it thousands of little girls are suffering.
In a recent visit to the children’s hospital, I saw the effects of what this lie does to a beautiful little girl. I had just finished praying over nearly 20 babies with various diseases and infections. In the process three of the mothers of the babies gave their hearts to Jesus. Praise the Lord.
On my way out of the children’s ward I heard a blood curdling scream coming from a room. Anne and I passed by and looked into the window. What I saw pierced my heart to the very core and the images I will never forget. We never got to speak with the grandmother or the little girl but I knew that this little girl was a victim of the lie that hovers over the country.
This little girl lay on her back screaming in complete pain. Her grandmother lean over her, pinning her down to the bed as the nurse clean her wounds. I don’t exactly know what disease she had but lesions covered her entire pelvic region and spread all over her stomach and thighs. The

bled profusely as the nurse attempted to inject this precious little girl with medicine.
I sat at the window as my heart shattered into a thousand little pieces. I knew that this little girl was a victim of evil. I knew that because of a lie that was spoken from the devil this little girl was molested and given a disease.
I know that many right now are saying, why would God allow this to happen? I struggled with this for so long until I felt the Fathers heart. I could feel that He never created it to be this way. Man is the one that fell into the corruption of sin. God never wanted it to be this way. That is the exact reason why He sent His son to die on the cross. Jesus Christ died for ALL sin and power was taken away from the devil.
Now what are the answers? Do we sit and say that the problem can’t be fixed? Do we hate the man that performed the crime? Or, do we build up all the hate and anger that we have and direct it towards evil. The bible says that the fear of the Lord is to hate evil. The cause of what is raping these little girls is not the men but the lies that are being fed to the men. Evil has its grip on the world because the world chooses to listen to lies that eventually lead to death.
What I have learned is to hate evil even more. I have learned that when I see a little child like this, there is hope because it makes me want to fight in the spiritual that much more. It makes me want to connect in prayer and take hold of the God given gifts that my Father has given me.
Little girls are still being affected because the church is not reacting fast enough to the call. God wants his children to believe and step into who He created them to be. The answers lie in the body of Christ which is the Church. The church needs to take this burden and fight not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers and rulers of darkness.
The fight all across the world is in the spiritual, not the physical. I choose to pray, to love to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the world. What choice are you making?
