We just received this from a translator’s wife:
I just wanted to say what an amazing thing this world race is. I didn’t know about it until my husband Zacarias met this team in South Africa. He is a Mozambiquan national who translates for a local ministry and is a provincial youth leader in Sofala province, Mozambique. He helped the team get to Dondo, Mozambique from South Africa. He is now in the flood area with this team helping them deliver food and translating for them when they minister to the villagers.
I get a chance to talk to him several times day although I am in the US. He tells me the team is doing really well. They have seen many come to christ and many have been healed. This is always the most exciting part about being in the bush in Mozambique and helping those who need it.
They are very hungry for Christ in this country and hundreds get saved whenever evangelism happens. This flood area has seen thousands of conversions in the last few months alone. This used to be a muslim nation but God is turning it back to him. God is doing a mighty work there and this team is at the right place at the right time to experience it.
