“Those who wait on the Lord will find new strength, they will fly high on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary and they will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
My time in Thailand has drawn to a close. It has been a wonderful month building relationships, showing the love of Christ to prostitutes and loving on one another. I praise God for sending me to Thailand.

I currently sit in my room at the YWAM (Youth with a Mission) base in Bangkok awaiting my flight at 6:30 in the morning. My heart hurts because my family for the year is three hours south. I have been with them for eight months and now I am leaving them. I could feel how close I had grown to them and how weird it was that they were going somewhere where I was not.
You ask why I am leaving. I am leaving because my one and only brother Josh Mast is getting married on the 1st of September and I am the best man. My heart aches to be away from the world racers yet it is filled with joy to be going home to my family.

My adventure of chaos is about to begin. Try this schedule on for size. At three thirty in the morning I am being picked up to go to the Bangkok Airport. The time difference is 14 hours so I am staying up the entire night to try and get on the West coast schedule as best as I can. My flight departs at 6:50am and arrives in Tokyo Japan at 3:00 pm. It is two hours ahead of time in Bangkok so the total air time is actually only six hours. I then have a layover for three hours and then depart Tokyo at 5:55pm on Wednesday. Here is the funniest part of this whole adventure. I get into San Diego California at 2:55pm, three hours before I departed Tokyo. Still hard for me to get my mind around but praise God, I gained an entire day.
When I get into town I get to have two days with my family before the big event. On Saturday mid-afternoon my brother will be married in Lakeside California just outside of San Diego. We will be having the after party somewhere around there where I will be giving my speech and then I will tear up the dance floor. To my world racer family, I will show them the moves that I only show to the orphans.

I then head out at 9:55 the following morning (2nd) and encounter the exact opposite that I did before. This time I lose an entire day and arrive in Tokyo on the 3rd at 4:30pm. I then catch another flight at 6:30pm and arrive in Bangkok at 11:10pm. I will head to the YWAM base where I will be with the C Squad for two days before I head out to Phnom Phen Cambodia for the next month of ministry.
So this is the life of a second year world racer. I have gone the entire time not having to come home for anything but some things are just too important. This is for you Josh, I miss you racers and will be back soon.
God Bless.
