“Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.” John 14:10-11

I currently reside in New Life for Christ Church in the heart of Phnom Penh with team Nessa. It is a small compound with a soccer/basketball court, a school, two story building for the church, dorm style visitor’s house and eight barking dogs. We have been welcomed with open arms by the staff and now serve as the English teachers for most of our ministry. I love it.

Another ministry that we participate in is loving on sixty kids at a local orphanage. The first time that I walked through the door it was about 95 degrees with about the same percentage of humidity. The floor was dirt and the smell was very musty. Sprawled out on the beds were about 6 little new born babies. They couldn’t have been more than six months old and they lay flat on there backs.

I became attached to one of the little ones that they called Sam Pet, so I called him Peter after the Apostle Peter. I held this little baby in my arms and as he looked up at me, I could see Jesus in Him. I could hear God saying to me, “can you see me, I love these little ones so much”. I could feel His heart at that moment and I know that I was actually holding Jesus.

Through doing that I gave the love and nurturing that this little baby desperately needed from its mother that it does not have. Most or all of these children have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS and this orphanage has taken them in on there own dime. There are sixty plus kids that are crying out to be loved and held.

We will be visiting this orphanage every morning from 9-11am so please pray for these little ones. There are about 20 that are pretty sick so we are pressing in with the Spirit for healing to take place. Many have already received healing from there illnesses. Praise Jesus Christ.
May the Lord shower His mighty love upon you this very day. God Bless.
