This year has been so much different than last year because my ministry is the 51 world racers. I am the main leader for the 27 world racers on the B squad and am an intercessor for the A squad of 24. I am truly burdened for each and every person and the Lord has had to make this clear day in and day out that my first priority is the group.

I am also in charge of planning and setting up the races for the entire year. Thank the Lord for the media team because they have assisted me in taking a lot of this burden off of my shoulders.

The second race was set up perfectly in our minds and we shot out of Palenque Mexico a day and a half early to do the ground work for Antigua. The plan in Antigua was to try and find a place for everyone to stay.

I had a lot on my mind because I didn’t want all 51 racers to get into town and have no place to go. When we arrived in Antigua we found the coffee shop where one of the teams stayed last year. The name was Higher Grounds and this was actually founded by YWAM (Youth with a Mission). As I sat in the coffee shop I could feel the Lord telling me that we would be staying either in the coffee shop or right next door at the church.

Nothing was revealed at the moment so we decided to go to a hostel to catch up on some sleep. We decided to completely give everything over to the Lord and trust that He would lead us in the right direction. That next morning we woke up and went to the Cross that overlooked all of Antigua.

As we got to the top of the mountain we all dove into our quite times with the Lord. What an amazing place to sit and be with the Lord. We all wanted to stay the entire day but knew that we had to go back to the church next to the coffee shop.

As I sat in church I was thinking in my mind, there are about to be 51 racers about to be in town with no place to stay. The entire day was a confirmation of the word Trust. Trust in Me with all of your heart is the beginning of my life verse in Proverbs 3:5. What did I have to worry about?

As soon as the service was over the translator came up to me and said that he remembered the team that stayed at the coffee shop last year. I told him that I was looking for a place to house the entire group and he told me that we could stay in the church. He then invited the pastor over to join the conversation and in less than two minutes I had the key to the church and 51 people had a free place to stay for three nights.

What do we have to worry about in life? Although I have been placed in a leadership position with huge responsibilities, what do I ever have to worry about? The answer is nothing because the Lord is in control of it all.

Ministry is working out exactly how the Lord has planned it and the B squad is headed for Nicaragua on Saturday spending one night in El Salvador.

I love you family, supporters and friends. I am being stretched, molded and will forever be changed.

“Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, do not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
