I have been home for about five weeks now and I am getting back into “normal” life for me. It has been so great to return to my community in Pullman. I felt very loved and missed by my friends and mentors. I spent my time there catching up with friends as well as just enjoying being kinda lazy having a chance to be by myself and just sit with God processing all that he did in my life as well as praying about the future. I had a great time seeing family for Christmas as well to catch up after being gone for a year. I am now in Moses Lake with time to myself to really process the last year and prepare for the future.
There has been many questions asked about my trip and what is next so I want to take some time to answer some FAQs

  15. How is being back any reverse culture shock?

    1. Flying into New York and staying for a few days was one way to get back into the American culture for sure. The first time I walked into a huge super market I was a little overwhelmed. I missed the nice lady down the street I would buy from each day from her small market. Some of the food did not really agree with my stomach and I did have jet lag for about a week after waking at 4am no matter what time I went to bed. I had to take some time by myself as well away from people after living in such intense community.

I just want to say thank you for all of the prayers and support that you all of given me over the past year as well as many years before that, as I have known some of you for a long time. God bless you for your support your prayers worked and were answered. Who knows what God has for me in the future, but I am ready to step out in faith and receive what he has for me.
