My name is Chad Borg, I am 25 years old and live in Pullman, Washington.

I studied Wildlife Ecology and criminal Justice at Washington State University (Go Cougs).

I am currently working for the forest service as a wildland firefighter in the summer and I do missions work in the winter for the offseason.

I love being outdoors camping, hiking, swimming, hunting, ranching, farming and fighting fires.

My hobbies include motocross, wakeboarding, snowboarding, rock climbing, cliff jumping, shooting and frisbie.

I have always loved traveling even at a young age, it was instilled by my parents as we all loaded into the car each summer to travel across America.

I love missions work because different cultures are able to come together in God’s name and be united and learn from each other.

I heard about the World Race through my brother and as I soon as I looked it up I knew i was going to do it and two years later I left on the expedition route.

I grew up in a christian home but was never a follower of God just believed in Him because it was all that I knew. After seeking out lots of questions and making a lot of mistakes and being tired of the way my life was going I made the choice to give my life to God my sophomore year of college to follow God and give myself to Him.

I am a easy going guy, that can go with the flow no matter what happens. I can be comfortable with uncomfortably most of the time. I am a pretty hard guy lacking sensitivity and emotion at times. I know life is not fair and we just need to suck it up at times and trust God with our lives.

My dream for my life is to be some one that makes a big difference in Gods kingdom. I want to know God in deeper ways and be able to show his glory to everyone that i meet. I also hope to keep traveling the world and go on crazy adventures.

my hopes for the race is to get to know God in a deeper way as well as know more about his love and seek his love before anything else because his love is what changes nations as well as individuals.

there is a huge yes in my spirit as i do this, i just want more.
