Dear Friends and Family,
As you may already know I was traveling recently and throughout this past year have felt God nudging me into the mission work field, in order to bless and serve others. There are many uncertainties due to the recent state of the world but I am hearing God calling me to trust in Him for safety and provision as I go out to disciple, learn, grow, and teach.
With this, I am excited to share with you that I have been accepted for the World Race mission trip through Adventures in Missions. I plan to be leaving in January 2021 for an 11-month trip to 11 countries: Bulgaria, Ukraine, Spain, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, South Asia, Nepal, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile.
I will be living and working with approximately 20 team members. The ministry will differ in the various countries, but it will include: building relationships, educating children, ministering to those fighting against the sex/trafficking industry, serving young adults with special needs, outreach to the homeless and in the slums of Nepal, combating human trafficking, ministering to migrant workers, caring for the poor, teaching the art of the listening prayer, loving the unloved, and being the hands and feet of Jesus. My intention in sharing this with you is to invite you into this exciting and life-changing experience alongside me. If you feel led or would you consider partnering with me in prayer and/or financial support throughout this journey, the cost for the World Race (including food, shelter, transportation, and traveler’s insurance) is $17,900.
