She's a petite lady who I pursued everyday for her sandwiches…..& then I realized, I was actually put on her path to pursue her heart, & let her know she is loved.
God laid it on my heart to giver her something but I wasn't sure what. So I waited until I knew the perfect gift,earrings. God wanted me to adorn her like He would, treat her like a princess, like the royalty she is from being His daughter.

So I went o the local market and spent an hour searching for the perfect pair. That next week I went to see her and give her the earrings. Tear drop crystals. I was so excited to give them to her because I know she doesn't get the adornment she should. She works everyday without fail at her sandwich stand and makes 50 cent USD per sandwich, which most likely matches her cost of food and prep.
I pursued her and gave her the earrings, and it brought her and I both such joy. Even though there was a language barrier, we still motioned and she understood the earring were for her, and that I was leaving tomorrow. She told me thank you and tried putting them in, we realized her holes were closed which was kinda disappointing but at least she still received the gift.
The next day I went to get one last sandwich and say goodbye before I left…..and there she was….sportin' her new earrings. 🙂 I jumped for joy and started giggling like crazy. She made sure to wear those earrings, even when she thought I was gone.
And THIS is why I think God is so romantic.Because He uses His people who know and love Him, to pursue the ones He's waiting on. He never gives up, He is our ultimate pursuer.
