Value: the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance or preciousness of something
Relationship: the way in which 2 people are connected either emotionally, spiritually, or physically.
In Gensis 2:18 it says, Then the Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who isjust right for him."
God's been bringing random relationships in my life. They are jewels. passionate. curious. intruiging.
The conversations I have with them are like jewel panning. Like here we are, sifting dirt, digging down to deep parts undisturbed. Washing them clean and exposing them to shine. THIS is how I feel when I spend time with the people God has randomly placed in my life this month. I hope I take on this perspective forever.
Enter. Cassi & Brendan. 2 people on "Holiday" (vacation), visiting Darwin for 4 days. This married couple sat and chatted with us about life's most intimate things, spiritual revelations. and in sifting, those little gold nuggets popped up, and I'm holding tight. Fist clenched on the things God has revealed to me about myself, and about Himself.

(Cassi and Brendan)
Enter. Robert (Ned Henry), Elizabeth (China), Saul, & Sid.
These are the 4 homeless people we met. We did a little prayer walking today around a national park. We prayed over Parliament, the area, the people, etc. We started walking down a trail towards the beach and low & behold….there was THE people God had wanted us to run into. These people have beautiful souls. They played harmonica for us while they drank wine. We talked about how that's a form of worship. They mentioned they were christian and they used to attend a church that no longer exists.

(Robert, Elizabeth, Erin, Saul, Me, Sid, Emily)
Robert even offered to meet us at a certain place on Sunday evening for worship. Just to sit and spend time with these people was heart healing. I knew that THIS is what God had for us today. Even though our talks started out with the history of Darwin, & how America is a super power that stomps on everyone…..they eventually ended up on Jesus 🙂 love it when that happens. We prayed for them as we departed and spoke life over them.
To think we were PROBABLY the only people that stopped to actually spend time with them today I'm sure impacted them and us both. As we were leaving they even said "God bless you, you are a blessing to us, we love you"….and THAT'S how I know God hangs with the homeless, with the drug addicts or alcoholics.
Relationships were built all month long. We hosted a youth night twice. Once with 3 youth, and once with like 50 youth! It was so fun. We also helped cook for a fundraiser for a local charity through Vinnies (the homeless shelter for men and families) and then got to be their guest there

(church leader, youth night in Darwin, she looks like my gma!)

(youth night!)

(Roman, Johnathon, and David at the fundraiser)

(waiting for the movie to start)
These new realtionships mean everything to me.
He is everywhere. He is present. Expect and be purposeful about seeking Him out to see just where He really is in the midst of a situation. Maybe even one you're in right now.
I can feel God here…

Love you all, xoxo -Celeste
