We are staying in a little town called Pouk,Cambodia in a village 40 minutes outside Siem Rep. This has been the best month so far!  We live on a dirt road in the countryside of Cambodia. There are cows in our back yard, lizards the size of dinosaurs & bugs I've never seen before. There's roosters crowing in the morning, as the curtains blow and the sunshine streams in on my face. If I keep my eyes closed, I sometimes feel like I'm at home.

Christmas is right around the corner and I'm a little homesick, but I know that Christmas this year was meant to be speant here, right where we are. This month we have been mainly teaching at a school called "University of the Nations". It's a school for ages 6-21 or so. We  teach computer, english, and sewing classes monday through friday.

On tuesdays and thursdays we visit 2 neighboring villages to play games with the kids, have snack time, put on skits about Jesus, and tell stories from the bible. This has been sobering to see the conditions of the villages we visit. These kids have so little. Many of them in torn clothes with holes, so dirty, no shoes, yet they are so content and joyful.

Recently, we have hosted 2 village Christmas parties. These were so fun! We passed out presents after playing games, eating food, doing a nativity scene skit, and explaining who Jesus is and why we celebrate Him. We also celebrated  he graduation of the students and a Christmas party for them too.

During this week danced and sang. I taught my class part of the east coast swing and we performed to Elvis Presleys "Winter Wonderland"!! It was so much fun! This last week we are here we will celebrate Christmas by hosting a few more parties for the church and for ourselves.

God has blessed us in so many ways this month it's crazy! He is so good.
