Since camp has ended and I only have around 5 weeks before launching for the race, I would like to write to my sponsors and friends and letting everyone know where I am financially and how everyone who would still like to help out can. Thanks to all of my sponsors I am now around $13,000!! Only $2,500 to go and I am extremely blessed and thankful that everyone has been so loving to support me and what God has called me to do. After camp I began to make a list of things I will need for the next year and if you are still looking at ways to sponsor me, getting me gear would help out a lot! I have a few things that are a bit pricey but I know I can’t get cheap gear and expect it to last all year so I am looking for some help with being able to afford all I need to get.
The first thing I would like to get for the race is a camera. I know that I will want to have memories with me after the race and a camera would be a wonderful thing to have. This is the camera that I would like to have because it is waterproof and I know it is a good one that will last.
The second thing I would love to have are compression sacks that I can put my clothes in and keep dry and compress so that I can have enough room in my backpack for other things. I would love to have a large sack as well as a medium one. These sacks can vary but the one I am looking at is a dry bag that keeps your things dry and also compresses them. This is the type of one I would like.

I would also like to get an airporter for my backpack for travel days and flying. This is one that I found.

These options would be a huge blessing that would help me out as I prepare to live out of a backpack for an entire year. If you would like to help me please email me at [email protected] for more information! Thank you all once again for supporting and I will be sure to keep everyone posted about my financial needs and raising support!
