These past few weeks have been a whirlwind! I am truly humbled by the outpour of love and help that I’m receiving for the World Race!
I’ve been signed up for the mission trip since February 2nd but I didn’t start fundraising until this month because I was tripping on PRIDE!
I didn’t want to ask anyone for help much less a dime…and all I wanted to do was use my savings, sell my car and ask my parents for the rest and be done with that (haha yup that was my mindset) my mom gave me that mother look and said, “NO you are not selling your car, if this is God’s will He’s going to provide every single penny for you to go and share His word!”
So this month of April I started fundraising. I sent out sponsor letters to my friends and family members that sent me their addresses (thanks to all who have responded you guys are AHHHHMAZING).
My principal put me on the spot during a staff meeting and told my co-workers I was leaving on an 11 month mission trip so now I’m running a concession stand during Saturday School with the help of coworkers and friends!
I also designed a t-shirt through “fund the nations” and I will be receiving t-shirts in a few days and will be selling each one for $20.00.
I have friends reaching out saying I want to help you fundraise and that just has me WRECKED, God truly knows ME!! He knows this is SOOOOO out of my comfort zone and I’ve been wrestling Him.
But as I said these 6 months of preparation are a process for a NEW Celenne. I have a little over a month before Training Camp in Georgia. I have a 3 months until the mission trip begins.
GOD IS GOOD!
