Getting to Know Me
Hi Everyone,
My name is Celena Ocon, which you already know. I was born and raised in California. At the age of 17, I moved away from home to attended Oral Roberts University. I studied business at ORU and got my Bachelors of Science in Business Management and my Master of Business Administration.
While I was obtaining my degrees, I was involved with ORU Outreach/Missions. I went on 5 mission trips with ORU as well as lead one trip. The first country I went to was a micro-finance mission trip to India, in 2009. The second country was a water mission trip to Guatemala, in 2010. The third country was a medical mission trip to Dominican Republic, in 2011. The forth country was a construction mission trip to Brasil, in 2012. The fifth country was a business mission trip to South Africa, in 2013. I have also traveled to Israel, Mexico, and the UK. Out of all of those countries my favorite one is …… I cannot say. I do not have a favorite country. I love every single one of them for different reasons.
I have finally returned home after 6 years. However, my stay in California will be short lived (1 month ½). From September 2013 – August 2014, I will be living out my dream of traveling the world and just doing the will of the Lord.
