It’s crazy to think about only having 5 more days at home and 9 more days in the U.S. before I embark on a 9 month journey away from everything I’ve known as comfortable. But all the support and encouragement I’ve felt as I prepare to leave has made it clear God has me right where I am supposed to be.
I am so excited and blessed to say that I have met my final goal and will now be able to leave fully funded! Thank you so much to all my supporters! Your donations, prayers, and encouragement have meant so much and are allowing me to go and make a difference. Thank you to everyone who also came to say goodbye and wrote me letters that I now get to take with me on my trip and read when I need some reminders of home.
Goodbyes are never easy and as my departure date comes closer they only get harder. But I read this great quote, it says, “”if home is where the heart is & your heart is with the Lord, then you are home wherever you go.” I know the idea of leaving friends and family may put an ache in my heart for now but I know I’ll be at home in the Father. He has great plans for me AND for people I am leaving for the short time.
God has been so good and faithful and this is just the start of an amazing kingdom journey! Thanks again for all your support and continue to follow my blog!
