My name as you probably already know is Caytlyn. I’m overwhelmed at just thinking about writing an “about me” section. The truth is I’m nothing extraordinary.  Truly just your average small town girl…

I’ve lived all my 22 years in Texas. I am the middle child in a family of 3 siblings. My sister is 7 years older than me and my brother is 7 years younger than me. Cheryl has 2 amazing kids. My brother’s name is Tel, as in William Tel, and was in my opinion the cutest little kid I have ever seen. As he grows up he continues to amaze me. I’ve been blessed with amazing parents! My mother teaches Jr. High science, and after teaching each my sister, brother, and me, I can safely say she’s one of the most passionate and patient teachers I’ve met. My dad owns and runs his own business. For people who know my dad, it’s easy for them to tell I’m his daughter. Not only am I told I look like him, I know my stubbornness and drive comes from him.  I spent most of my life in Cuero, a small town known for Turkey’s and Football. I attend the University of Houston-Victoria and plan to graduate with a B. S. in Psychology. I have spent the past 3 summers in East Texas working at Camp Cho-Yeh and if you’re ever around me you’ll hear countless stories of the friendships I’ve made and the ways in which God has rocked my world through that amazing place. That’s pretty much about it, although having 100+ pigs out in the barn at different times throughout the year isn’t out of the ordinary for me, my life is not extraordinary by any means.
