Hey everyone! My parents and I have been getting a lot of questions from everyone and I wanted to take the time to answer all of your questions. So here it goes.

-What do you miss most from the US?

The thing I miss most about the US, (putting people aside) is, without a doubt, Chick-Fil-A. Forget good wifi and A/C-I miss Jesus chicken!

-What is your favorite memory from Swazi?

There are too many amazing memories to just pick one. A few of them would have to be:

  • Learning to play “Casino”-a Swazi card game we would play with the local mechanics while we were evangelizing in the community.
  • Getting the chicken on Ford’s birthday.
  • Samuel, Ford and I taking public transport to Manzini (a big city in Swazi, 2.5 hours away by private car, 6 hours away by public) for a Men’s getaway.
  • Preaching in the prison and meeting some amazing people.
  • + so many more I can’t wait to tell y’all when I get home.

-Biggest lesson God taught you the last 3 months?

The biggest lesson that God had taught me in the past few months is what Love is, and not what the world defines Love by, but what His definition of Love is. He showed me how he loves me, how he loves others, and how I should love others.

-Did you actually wash your clothes by hand?

Ohhhh yes we washed clothes by hand and I can 100% guarantee that they were never actually clean.

-Favorite Swazi food?

My favorite Swazi food had to be Chicken Dust, the local street food of Swazi. Either that or the “Mongolian Beef” (the chicken we somehow got on Ford’s birthday).

-What will you miss most in Swazi?

The thing I will most about Swazi will forever be the relationships I’ve built there. Swaziland is now a very special place to me. It’s now a place I call Home.

-Tell me about your favorite day in Swazi!

My favorite day in Swaziland was one day I remember at ministry. Our missionary friend Leo gave us small New Testament Bibles and The Book of John hand-outs to give to a bunch of people who hang out at the local gas station we would evangelize at. We watched the community we built relationships at for a week light up like never before when we got to hand them out. It was special.

-Did you learn any siSwait?

Im fluent.

-What is the biggest material need in Swazi?

I don’t really know the answer for that.

The biggest need that we prayed for a lot was for open hearts, harvest for farmers, and rain literally and metaphorically.

-Cross anything off your bucket list?

I peed in the Indian Ocean, I saw the Big Five on an African Safari, and I visited Africa.

-Could you live in Swazi?

Yes, I do believe I could.

-Any regrets from the last 3 months?

Sounds odd coming from a Missionary, but I regret not being as bold about the Gospel as He wants us to.

-Do locals have internet? Anyone you will keep in touch with?

Yes, some locals have internet, and I have already have had some phone calls with my friends in Swaziland after we left!

-How much does Cauy have left to fundraise?

I currently have $3,820 left to fundraise. The deadline is coming up soon.

I would love if you would consider donating.

I hope that answered all of your questions. If you have anymore questions feel free to leave a comment or email me at [email protected]. I’m off to Myanmar tomorrow and I don’t know my living situation yet so I will try to get back to you as fast as I can. God Bless.
