Today is my last day in The United States. Early tomorrow morning my team and I will board the plane heading to Chile. We have been in Atlanta for the past few days attending sessions and learning a few more tidbits before we head out onto the field. Yesterday, I said the sweetest goodbye to my parents. Before we parted ways, we got to pray over each other. I can’t wait to see what the Lord will do in their lives as well as what He will do in my own life over these next 11 months .

On The World Race, you have to be flexible; my team has had a route change. Due to the unrest happening in Haiti, we will no longer be going to Haiti and Dominican Republic. When I first heard the news, I was a little upset because I was really looking forward to going to the Caribbean. Instead my team will be spending two more months in Asia. We will be going to Vietnam and Indonesia. I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for my team in those places. We have also been given the opportunity to travel through Ecuador on our way to Colombia.

Also, I have been given the role as the storyteller for me team. When I was first given this role, I laughed a little bit. If you know me, you know reading and writing are not my favorite. In this role I will help with processing and checking in with my team.  I know God wants to stretch me outside my comfort zone. I am looking forward to learning how to navigate through expressing my feelings using different avenues.

Last update, I AM SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT I AM FULLY FUNDED!!! God has blown my socks off in providing my last funds. I am blown away by the love and support that I have received. With that being said, if you would like to donate to The World Race, you can still click the donate button on my page; but if you would like to support me personally for additional costs that might pop up along the way, you can venmo me or message me on how to do that.
