So, I have been in Atlanta since Monday and we started getting into sessions and trainings pretty quickly. We have gone over a lot of different things as far as safety and things that are expected of us, to different ways that we can be successful as a team and how to give good feedback (positive and constructive) so that we can continue to be a healthy team.
We found out that we are going to be in Arecibo Puerto Rico along with another team from our squad and that we will be staying with a local church and doing some construction projects and some community outreach. Our hosts there said that the area that we are staying in is really low key and safe. I will update you as things get released to us. We probably won’t be finding out information about the next country until we get a lot closer to leaving Puerto Rico. So far so good, tomorrow we will be up and leaving for the airport at 4:00 am and our flight will leave around 8 and we will be in Puerto Rico around 12:45. (They are an hour ahead of us here in Atlanta and 2 hours ahead of you guys at home). 🙂 Until next time!!!
