I don’t really know how to describe my expectations for the World Race because I know so much is going to change and I know I’m so unprepared for everything that’s going to happen.  Here’s my best shot.

I expect…

…the Holy Spirit to be there.
…to witness at least one miracle.
…to be stretched physically, emotionally, and spiritually farther than ever before.
…many difficult times.
…culture shock.
…true community living.
…to know the Lord better.
…many joyful times.
…to learn to love more selflessly.
…to cry – for happy and sad reasons.
…to question God.
…God to talk to me more frequently and clearly.
…to learn about and respect different cultures.
…to truly rely on the Lord for everything.
…I will get tired of sleeping in a tent/sleeping bag.
…I will get homesick on multiple occasions.
…to receive direction from the Lord about my future.
…to become a less picky eater.
…to become more compassionate.
…God to save people.
…God to provide for those in need.
…much confusion due to language barriers.
…God to heal people – inside and out.
…God to be glorified.
…God to be rejected.
…to see an elephant and some monkeys.
…to be changed forever.
