Who
knew that the five months we spent in Asia would come in handy so quickly? One week we got to teach the boys about
Asia. We told them stories about the
countries we had been to, showed them pictures, and even put on some
traditional wear from some of the countries.
The boys absolutely loved it.
They loved that we had actually been there, and we could tell them
firsthand accounts. They asked questions
about why things were different there, and they hung onto every word we said. On Sunday afternoon we loaded up into two
cars and took the boys into town to a Chinese restaurant. This was the first time most of them had ever
been to a restaurant. They got all
dressed up and sat quietly and respectfully at the table. They were such gentleman and appreciated
every minute of it. It was such a
special occasion.
