Hi everyone!!! My name is Catherine Taylor & I’m from Dallas, TX. Although I have lived in Texas my whole life, I am always eager to travel and see different places around the United States (& hopefully around the world!!) I absolutely love nature (specifically the mountains) and you can almost always find me watching the sunset no matter where I am.
I would consider myself to be a super creative person. I love anything related to art, whether that be writing in calligraphy or spending hours behind my camera. I also am Spotify’s #1 fan who spends hours upon hours listening to all kinds of music and creating dozens of playlists. I love being able to express myself to others and I tend to use art to do so.
I am the baby in my family; I have two sisters, two dogs, and two awesome parents. I am super thankful for my family, especially for all of the love and support they show me constantly. Each person in my family has played an important role in my life and I would be nowhere near where I am today without them! They have taught me to be kind, courageous, strong, humble, determined, and most importantly, how to love everyone around me in all circumstances.
Currently, I am a freshman in college & majoring in psychology! If you know me at all, you know how passionate I am about mental health. I think it is a very important topic that should be discussed more. I love learning so much about mental health & spreading awareness to it as much as I can. Anything and everything about psychology fascinates me and I can’t wait to see where this major takes me in the future.
While I love school, I have decided to take a mini break from it next semester to attend the World Race!!! HOW EXCITING IS THAT? If you can’t tell… I am BEYOND thrilled to have this life-changing opportunity come up and I knew it was something I could not miss out on.
