So today officially marks 100 days until June 4th, when I will leave the country for 11 months for The World Race!!! Although it’s crazy how numbers can help put things in perspective, I’m not “counting down” the days until I leave. Even though this journey is going to be so life changing and amazing, I know the God I serve still has so much in store for the next 100 days.
I don’t have to wait until I leave to start experiencing Him in a new way. I’m still just as much of a missionary here as I will be around the world. I’m just following where He has called me. Right now I am still in a season in which He has called me specifically to SUNY Oswego. This is my current assignment. I’m learning and I’m growing here every day.
And the thing is… I’m not ready for the World Race yet. If I was, I’d be on the Race right now. I’m not the same person I’m going to be 3 months from now. If you think I’m being dramatic, look back on who you were this time last year. I guarantee you’ve come a long way. The change is so subtle that you don’t notice it until you look back.
I don’t want to waste my time in this “waiting period” just longing for it to be over. I’m going to make the most of it! Imma just let God continue to change me and go from there. 🙂
Thank you all for so kindly supporting me!

P.S. I still have approximately $1,500 to raise in order to reach my second deadline of $10,000 in May. Please consider donating if you haven’t already!
P.P.S. Please keep me, my team, and the countries I’ll be going to in your prayers!
