Ah! What? This year has gone by so fast! It seems like just yesterday when God rocked my world and was like, “Hey, I want you to do this crazy thing.” That’s what happens when you finally get to the point where you give Him control over your future, I guess. It’s never what you expect. Hence why I responded by asking, “But, are you sure?” way too many times. Because for me, it would’ve been so much easier to just stay here where I’m comfortable.

However, God doesn’t operate within my comfort zone. So I’m leaving in 6 months to spend 11 months doing missions in 11 different countries! It’s something I never would’ve thought I would ever be doing in my life. But here I am.

And God has been so faithful! Even in the midst of the mess that is my life, I’m reminded that everything’s going to be okay. As I used to say quite literally all the time for the sake of my sanity, “I’ll be fine.” It’s really hard sometimes to just let go and trust that it will all work out in the end. But it’s inevitable since there’s only so much that I can do.

It’s that time of the semester where all my deadlines are catching up to me. I’ve got papers to write, assignments to complete, tests to study for, and still have to go to work (because ya girl’s got to eat). Plus I still have skating practices and BASIC meetings/events this week. Also, being is senior is fun, because you have no idea how you’re doing in most of your classes until you get your final grade. 🙂

But break is soon, and I’ll be switching out my school routine for my home routine- way more work, but way less school. Like I said, it’s crazy how fast this semester has gone, because I just blinked and my senior year is halfway over. But I am looking forward to this time where I will be able to get the long-awaited 8 hours of sleep a night I’ve been longing for.

As much as I am looking forward to launching in June, I’m excited to see what these next few months have in store for me. I know I am at Oswego for a purpose, and I can’t wait to see that through and walk the graduation stage in May. Also, it’s starting to set in just how much I’m going to miss everybody!!!
