Hmm. Welcome back to my favorite month on the race so far. FINALLY. It was the moment I was waiting for, a whisper of "Catherine, I'll bring you back here…someday.."

Month Seven. Beira, Mozambique.

We worked along side a man named Elijah. Elijah is a man who simply listens to the voice of God and does what He says. He lives a life fully dependent on the Lord. Like really. Those aren't just words; every aspect of his life is dependent on our God. There is no other option for him.

The Lord has called Elijah to specifically serve the orphans and the widows in his area. Elijah walks miles to pray and spend time with them. God has planted a vision for a specific piece of land where orphans and widows will come to be cared for. He is aware that he has nothing himself, but is confident that God is faithful. Elijah is diligent to pray over the land and pray for the kids that live near the land. He would take us there to help clean up the area and to pray for the Kingdom of God to come upon the land. He has no doubt that the Lord is going to provide, but while he waits, he is persistent in making the orphans and widows a part of his everyday life.

Here's a look of what God's doing through Elijah in Mozambique. Just a small snippet of what it looks like to live by faith.
