As you can no doubt see to the left side of your screen, I’ve raised $6,442 (praise God!). Of that, $4,147 is physically in the account… which is just barely enough for me to launch on Sunday. But, as pressing of a need as this is (I do have a deadline of $1,500 more being in said account by Tuesday), what is pressing on my heart even more is the need that my teammate Janet is in at this moment.
Because, you see, Janet is $1,700 short of the bare minimum to launch. If she doesn’t make it, she doesn’t go until June. Basically, it’s do or die.
I don’t know how to explain to you exactly what Janet brings to Team Poiema, but she brings something the rest of the team needs. I know that God meant for her to be paired up with me, Amanda, Emily, and Lauren. God put us together at training camp for a reason.
So I ask this of whoever reads this blog – visit Janet’s site. Get to know her. And, if you have any funds to spare, please send them her way. Poiema is praying for a multiplication of funds in her account – I just ask that if you can be a part of it, then do so.
