When I think about this question, that I ask myself, two ways of answering come to mind…….

Everthing I’ve ever known, am comfortable with, have American expertise doing (b/c I am American), and the people who’ve either walked in and out of my life OR are living life with me will NOT be there for 11 months. The comfort of a bed with a nice tempur-pedic pillow and comfy sheets, guaranteed running HOT water and none of it being on the floor, the list could go on. Other than the people I won’t see who mean much to me, everything else is just materialistic.

NO! I am NOT leaving it all behind b/c it is ALL before me — in the 11 countries with the 60+ people I’ll be calling my family, the ministries we will be working with and loving Christ with, the children who will teach us so much and make a print that will stay forever.
