Here’s a quick snapshot about me:

•27 year old living in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri

• Accepted Jesus as my Savior at 4 years old sitting on the couch with my mom, since it’s been quite a back and forth dance of understanding, commitment and surrender.

• Graduated from Drury University in Springfield, MO with a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Administration and Theatre.

•Studied abroad in London my Junior year and traveled to 10 countries while there, igniting a passion for travel, adventure and cultural studies.

• Upon graduation I lived with a family in Stockholm, Sweden as an au pair.

• After Sweden, I traveled coast to coast across the US in a Ford Transit presenting character building assemblies to K-12 students with an organization called Camfel Productions.

• Against my will but according to God’s plans, I ended up back in my childhood home unable to find my next adventure.

•God taught me a harsh lesson of putting travel/adventure before serving Him while revealing the depth of his faithfulness and omnipotence.

•Began my most challenging job yet as a coach in a residential treatment center for kids with complex developmental trauma and reactive attachment disorder, Calo. The majority of these kids were adopted, many from all over the world.

• God transformed my heart to love the least of these, kids with behaviors completely unlovable.

• Another passion ignited for those affected by trauma, how to treat and reveal Christ’s love for them and mend their hearts.

• Promoted to the Registrar/Admin Assistant of Calo Academics, which has become the best job I’ve ever had.

Now God has called me out again to serve Him in the World Race. This gives me the opportunity to visit the countries where my beloved Calo students were adopted from. I will serve the Calo kid way before he/she would ever come to Calo. I have the opportunity to reveal Christ’s love for these hurting people, to speak life and truth into their barren existence, and to offer hope in the saving grace of Jesus. It’s a chance to step into the heartache, poverty, and reality my Calo students experienced before adoption. To catch a glimpse of their harsh world and be a small force in stopping the cycle of trauma and abuse will be the greatest honor.
