Hello from Bangkok!
This month my team is at A-Mane English Center (pronounced Ah-men). It’s an after school program that teaches kids English, with the mindset of having business as mission. Our host’s Golf and Benz have been in business over a decade, after the Lord told them their ministry would be their business and their lives.
This month has been an incredible glimpse into post race life. Most of us won’t end up back on the mission field. Most of us will end up in apartments and homes all over the country, working nine to five jobs living “normal American lives”. But in the midst of the mundane, we have a choice to make. We have a choice to step out and actively seize what God has for us each day.
We have an opportunity to intercede in the lives around us. Our actions can speak louder than words. The way we live our lives – with our finances, our friendships, the way we speak, the way we care, the way we go the extra mile, the way we stop in the midst of our schedules to turn – those tell the greatest story ever told. Those are the stories that impact a community.
How do we live differently? How do we live each day abundantly and with intention?
Let me know what this looks like for you – lets make this a dialogue that we’re actively pursuing together!
