Hello from Lesotho! I’m writing to you from Africa 4 Jesus Lesotho in the most beautiful valley.  We are living with a South African family that relocated to Malealea Valley seven years ago to start A4J and live off the land.

Ministry this month has been a lot of spiritual and physical planting in the villages surrounding the base. It’s quite a lot of hard labor – digging and lifting rocks – but it’s SO rewarding. It’s hard not to fall in love with this place and it’s people.

One of the highlights this month has been visiting Thebeng and Metsepu. We were making our rounds through their village, praying and blessing their homes by helping around the house, when we noticed Thebeng had a deep cut in his foot from glass. We began visiting him every couple of days to change his bandages and prayed for his grandmother’s back.

After we prayed, Metsepu told us it was the first time she hadn’t experienced pain in years! To think, that while we could help heal Thebeng with our hands – God was healing Metsepu the entire time!

I’ve been so encouraged seeing our new friends every couple of days. They are both physically changed, as they run around their mountainside hut, but spiritually changed as well. It’s hard not to praise the Lord for their lives and how He’s revealing himself to them.

We serve a God of miracles – and I never want to doubt what He can do.

It’s funny to spend almost an entire year away from home. A lot has changed and I’ve gotten to experience some crazy adventures along the way. One thing I hope I never do, is to be tired of saying “yes” to things.

In honor of my “yes” year, I’m going to revisit 26 things I’ve gotten to be a part of for my 26th year.

  1. Swam in waterfalls in Bali and the Philippines
  2. Got snapped by crocodiles in Cambodia

It’s day one of 365 day of 27. I pray that each year, I continue too add unlikely and unusual things to my yearly resume. I never want to live a life of complacency and normalities. If I only have a few more days left, I pray it’s just as unlikely as the last.

Thank you for following along and praying with me each month. I cannot believe I have only a few weeks left on my World Race journey and am truly honored you have chosen to be a part of this. Please pray for the endurance to stay present and a source to fix my camera lens at an affordable cost!

As of now, we will be in South Africa from November 2 – December 1, NYC from December 2-5, Nashville from December 5-7, and Knoxville from December 7-9 and 19-21.  If you’d like to meet up or grab coffee: I WOULD LOVE THAT! I’ve had super limited wifi, so it’s been hard to communicate Africa-side to things. 🙂
