I have
been praying a lot recently about being more sensitive to the Spirit and knowing
what to pray for even before someone tells me what they need. I want God to
give me visions and prophetic words for people and be able to tell them what
God is speaking to them. God is beginning to answer that prayer for me. At
debrief, we had a time of prophesy over our squadmates and I got a vision for
each of the three women I prayed for. It was incredible to be reaffirmed by
each of them that it was exactly what they needed to hear. Last week during a
church service, we were asked to go up and pray for Team Pneuma as they were
swapping ministries with us for a week. I went over to Jessica and as I was
praying for her I saw her as a strong tower that would hold her team together
during their next week of hard work at the farm.

Last week
my heart was really burdened for Honduras, specifically Luis. I cried a lot
because I miss him and I hate that I’m missing out on a year of his life. I
don’t know what’s going on with him because we don’t receive many updates about
him. I began praying for him a lot and I have been asking God to reveal things
to me about what He wants for Luis’s precious life so I can know how to pray
for him better and begin to speak things into existence. It was incredibly
rewarding when I received an email later that week…

Luis is on FIRE, yes
FIRE with his faith in God for the last couple of weeks.  He waits for us
on the corner each week to go to church with us. He participates in the
worship and prayers during the services at church. Last night he came to my
house and sat with me and four from World Race on my floor. He was watching TV
as the five of us sat in a circle, held hands and began to pray. He
interrupted our prayer at the beginning and asked if he could join us. He
joined us hand in hand and prayed. Afterwards we asked him if we could pray for
him.  He laid on the floor in the middle of our circle and closed his
eyes. We asked him if there is anything we could pray for him. He first said no
and then within seconds he asked us to pray for a better relationship with his
dad. We laid our hands on him and prayed together for his life! This morning I
went up to the dormitories to say Good Morning to the our group of World
Racers. As I entered the front room the group was in Worship Time and on the
side I saw Luis sitting with Jonathon with a smile on his face participating in
Worship Time. I am so happy witnessing the transformation which is happening in
this young mans life.

[Luis]

I was so encouraged to hear that Luis is really on fire for
the Lord now. When we were in Honduras in October, he was a really great, sweet
boy and he usually came to church with us, but now he’s really starting to seek
out God for himself. I am so proud of him!! J Thank You, Lord, for answering my prayers!!
