I wanted to walk you through what a typical day looks like for me in India…

7 – 8:30 am– Wake up (mostly depending on the power and if it shuts off, usually it shuts off at 7 am every day so I wake up because it’s too hot to keep sleeping)
9 – 11 am—Quiet time (This is our alone time to pray read and worship)
11 am—Feedback (our team gets together and addresses any issues that need to be addressed. We also do different things to build each other up and we try to get vulnerable with each other so that we can grow closer and stay healthy as a team)
12:30 pm—Walk over to Pastor Edison’s house
1:00 pm—Lunch at Pastor’s house
1:30-1:45 pm—Leave for ministry
3ish- 10 or 11ish pm—Ministry (this looks a little different depending on the village we are in, but mainly we meet up with the Pastor from that village, or a believer/missionary from the village and we go around and encourage the local believers through prayer and speaking truth into their lives. We also have the opportunity to share the gospel with people who haven’t heard the story of Jesus Christ and we get to minister to those who are sick and crippled. After we minister through prayer going door to door, we eat dinner in the village then we have a service usually around 7 pm. The local pastor/missionary usually starts with worship in their language, then we sing a song and then someone from our group preaches. We always share the gospel story mixed in with our message, but sometimes depending on the village we are able to go a little deeper into some other Bible stories.)
12ish am—Quiet time/bedtime

Every day usually looks a little bit different but this is the basic format. Sunday’s are obviously different because we do church in the morning and then usually have some time to ourselves and/or minister to the people in the local village we are staying in and then have dinner with Pastor and his family.
