Wow!! I cannot believe we are in month five of the World Race; time is definitely slowly flying by 🙂

We arrived in Cambodia on the third of November and stayed the night in Phnom Penh before heading to our base here in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. We are staying at a YWAM base that is newly up and running. We are extremely fortunate to have beds this month, and a shower (half bucket half real) and western toilet. While here we will be running English classes for YWAM Monday through Friday in the evening from 4:30-6:30. Some of my teammates are working with young kids (5-7 year olds), Ginelove and myself will be running the 11 year olds class and others are working with the older age group. A few times a week we will be volunteering at the international school that is close by. They have grades pre-kindergarten through 6th grade and have many needs, so we will be able to fill in where they need help this month. We will do one day of prison ministry this month, where we will purchase a few items and go to the female prison here and spend a few hours with them. We also have the opportunity to jump in with the other ministries YWAM has throughout the week, so we are very excited about having many options when it comes to ministry.

The city we are in is the second biggest tourist city in Cambodia, we are staying more in the slum area but are within walking distance to beautiful beaches! The second day we got here one of our contacts took us around the city to show us where shops, stores and internet are and then he took us to the beach where we were ablel to sit for a couple of hours under umbrellas trying to process the fact that this is our life this month.

We added a new member to our team, her name is Jessica Martenson and are very excited to have her! Continue to pray for our team as we delve into this new month of ministry and growing together in the Lord.

Some specific prayer requests are:
Health and safety
Andrew as he continues to lead and push his team towards Christ
Our team as we are teaching English again (sometimes it can be very draining and we will be doing a lot of it this month!)

I love hearing from everyone, so please feel free to leave comments just letting me know you’re still reading 🙂 and emails are great too! I won’t be able to be on the internet as often this month because there is not wifi very close to where we are staying, but I will be sending updates as often as I can! Thank you all so much!
