Kenya a place that will hold my heart forever
the month is up, and its time to move on
leave the country
leave the amazing people behind
I didn’t want it to end.
A month just wasnt long enough.
=(

Looking forward to what the next month is going to look like

Month 6
Rwanda

I may have forgotten to mension that our route had gotten switched due to security issues in Tanzania but now you know =) and we are spending our 6th month of the World Race in Rwanda.

It all started on February 4th sometime in the am…
The Q boarding a 28hr hour bus ride to Rwanda
3 countries in 28hrs Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda

The excitement of a 28hr busride flowed through everyone… (not really)
sleepless night.. waking up freezing cold… waking up to coackroaches crawling all over you..
trying to get comfy.. crossing the boarders in the dawn of the morning… trying not to pee your pants while your telling the people your not going to pay to use the toilet…chillin at a random town right on the equator… scortching hot weather…being interigated at the Rwandan border… (freaky) overall I would say this was an awesome travel day =)

We got to drive through a breath taking view through Rwanda, It was litterally BEAUTIFUL!

(the view from our house)

When we first got to our contacts place it was very different from all the other times…
The first day i felt like I wanted to go home… I wrestled with this for a while in my head thinking like why am I feeling this way… the home I wanted to go back to was not Canada it was Kenya.. man I miss that place so much it felt like home…

BUT…. God has other plans

This next month is going to be challenging…. culturally it is very different and we have a language barrier the main language here in Rwanda is French.. yeah its kinda wierd to here them speak french.

Daily food menu..
Rice, beans, spagehette, mystery sauce, fries, and Mayonaise

Our home for the month is with Paster Sophonie… (SOFUNNY.. JK) and his 10 Kids

in Kigale
our first few days here were interesting we did nothing basically.. our contacts has it set that our ministry is just go day by day…

So…yeah… coffee shop has become a part of our home…

Rwanda is home for 15 days for me then I have to leave the country
…Because im Canadian…
