Talk about confirmation from God
He is showing up in cool ways, it’s incredible.
The village we are at has 50 houses and some pretty amazing people; they have been treating us to well. The people are so loving and simply amazing.
But this is the story of 1 of the woman in the village, a powerful woman of God. It gives me the chills to talk about this woman and even just to visit her at her house.
She has been a Christian for 5 years, she is not an original member of the village she came to the village 3 years ago because God sent her.
The first 2 years of her Christian life she was living elsewhere with her husband and her 3 kids. She had been a hidden Christian for 2 years, her husband or family knew nothing about it. When her husband found out he kicked her out so she left, she left with one dress and God told her to bring her daughter. She came to this village and the people helped her out and she now has a home. Her husband to this day from 3 years ago doesn’t know where she is and her son is coming to live with her in 1 week.
God started leading her to pray for a church for the village where she lives and where we are at now, so for 3 years she has been praying for a church.
Our mission: to plant a church
Before we even arrived at the village she knew we were coming, God told her that he was sending a team there and that a team was going to come that morning and then we came.
Before I even knew what our ministry was going to look like, or even what our ministry was she knew we were going to be there
As she was telling us this I didn’t even know how to react, my mind couldn’t rap around it and even right now I still can’t. Our God is seriously an awesome God, this has just been HUGE confirmation that God has us there for a purpose and is going to do something great, he has an amazing plan for the people in that village. So far 10 people gave their lives to Christ, and we still have and entire week, Even if God sent us there just for one person one more soul to become a son of Christ, one person to impact the entire village then PRAISE THE LORD.
We are going up against tradition and Idols, spiritual warfare is key for us this month but out God is greater and our God is higher.
All I can say is How awesome is that, this village is going to be powerful, and this lady is a Powerful woman of God, twice a week they go up to the mountain to pray to God and we have amazing chance to go with her and pray to our Most High God.
