His plan is he best plan.
Where He takes us is the greatest place we can be,
because he walks along side of us.
They were on the path to destruction, living a life where there is no hope.
They are now on a journey to finding freedom from the chains that held them down.
26 boys striving for something more.
In the past life wasnt so easy for them, living in the jungle with poor families and doing drugs. These boys at Teen challenge are there because they want to change there lives. All the boys at one point were addicted to drugs living on the streets, stealing so they can buy drugs.
We have been hanging out with them and building relationships with them and the other day after teaching English we were sitting around the table and me and Gina a girl on my team were sitting with these young boys.
They really opened up to us and began to sharing there past life with us, about how they were addicted to drugs. One boy Reak was telling us that he used to sleep on the side of the road, stealing things so he can buy the drugs, even stealing food so he can eat. These boys are 13-16 years old and theres lives we not easy at all. they have been through things we would never think. They have taught me alot to appreciate life because of the joy that they have and the smiles I see on there faces everyday I see them.
You who are reading this blog I challenge you to smile just because a smile can mean everything to someone else and smile because life is a blessing…
