His eyes were filled with tears, his face painted with saddness, his voice cried out for love!
“You can have all these just for one dollar”
“Im sorry i dont have any money”
People passing by left and right.
He walked along side of us, determined to sell us these bracelets. We kept walking and he just kept on following us. This little boy’s face was completely upside down the tears still sitting in his eyes.
“Are you okay? are you having a bad day?”
“Yeah!”
“What will happen if you dont sell these bracelets?”
the tears began to slide down the sides of both his cheeks.
He began to walk down the street with the plastic bag in his hand, head faced to the ground. I couldnt move i stood there and watching him walk away. The tears began to fill my eyes, my heart began to cry. God was showing me his heart. He was crying out for this little boy. He started to speak to me and say thats my child I want you to love Him.
still walking down the street, i stood there… he looked back and kept walking, he looked back again. he was looking for something….. he was looking for someone to love him.
“i should have prayed for him… aimee said well let go… so then we began to run after him waving him down. He saw us and turned around.”
we caught up to him, i bought some bracelets from him, the dollar most likely was not going to him but it was a dollar away from him being hurt.
“can I pray for you… instantly his head shook and said YES! i prayed for this little boy as I was praying God just began to wreck my heart, filling me with the love for this little boy and pouring out Gods love to this Child…. Gods child. God said this is my child who is hurting comfort him… “
He reached into his little plastic bag pulled out 3 bracelets gave them to me and 2 of my other teamates, he never asked for a dollar, He reached out and said this is for you.. Thank you. again the tears began to fill my eyes… he gave us 3 bracelets that should have been used for his income. It brought such a smile on my face, this boy was the sweetest thing.
This boy has no mother and no father, they both died. He is selling bracelet so he can go to school. He is hungry for love… i dont know if he has a home… if he has food to eat. but what i know is i have the faith and believe that God will provide for this boy, give him the Fatherly love, the comfort and Love he needs.. I continue to pray for this boy, even for me to see Him again before I leave.
its almost Christmas time… my Christmas wish from you is to pray for this little boy! that is the only thing i ask of you.
the 5 minutes ive known him, he has captured my heart!
